Caretaker Conventions

This data set provides a rate of trips taken by individuals sampled in obtaining data for the ACT Household Travel Survey. The data is categorised by age, gender and income. A trip is defined as the travel between two main activities, where a stop may constitute a change in transport mode.

As an example: driving from home to a park and ride facility, then catching a bus to an interchange, then walking to a shop to purchase an item and finally walking to work is comprised of 4 ‘stops’ and two ‘trips’.

Note: This data represents travel and activity on an average weekday. Total trip rate includes ‘other/not stated’ gender respondents.

This data set provides the distance travelled (in km) and percentage contribution of travel categorised by method of transport. This data is obtained from individuals sampled in obtaining data for the ACT Household Travel Survey.

This dataset contains historic traffic volume of vehicles passing through road detectors from 1st Jan 2019 to 31st Dec 2019. There are 14 detectors at this road intersection. This dataset provides details of the school bus services run by Transport Canberra within the ACT region.

Note: this dataset relates to school services which will be implemented as part of the new Transport Canberra network which will be implemented from 29/04/2019 onwards.

This dataset contains the location of traffic signals in the ACT

This data set is a record of unplanned footpath closures within the ACT. This data contains all information recorded since the implementation of an ESRI Survey 123 solution to handle Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) Applications.

RSS Feed of Temporary Road Closures within the ACT

Provides the average number of passenger alightings by day broken down by stop and hour for May 2017. Patronage is measured through unique alightings recorded in the MyWay ticketing system on scheduled services. This includes alightings by passengers with MyWay cards. This dataset excludes passenger alightings on dedicated school routes.

Data was sourced from the MyWay ticketing system which records passenger validations and cash sales using the netBI business intelligence software.
